Une œuvre à quatre mains autour de l’art sacré et de sa matérialité. L’amitié entre Axel Bertone et Maxime Passadore précède leur collaboration artistique : leur installation AGNUS DEI naît de cette proximité. Ensemble, ils partagent une sensibilité pour les formes rituelles et les symboles de l’architecture sacrée. Au croisement de leurs savoir-faire respectifs,sculpture de pierre et photographie, et portés par la tension de l'œuvre de Pierre Henry “L'Apocalypse de Jean”, le duo explore la charge symbolique de la liturgie à travers une œuvre minérale et résolument radicale. Entre geste patrimonial et présence mystique, le duo se réapproprie la matière et la lumière.

The friendship between Axel Bertone and Maxime Passadore predates their artistic collaboration: their installation AGNUS DEI stems from this close bond.

At the intersection of their respective crafts—stone sculpture and photography—and driven by the intensity of Pierre Henry's piece L'Apocalypse de Jean, the duo explores the symbolic charge of liturgy through a mineral and resolutely radical artwork.
Between heritage gestures and mystical presence, the duo reclaims both matter and light.
