As part of Novembre Numérique and The Nest, we have the pleasure of presenting “Passengers”, an immersive work by French artists Maxime Passadore @maxpassadore and Michael Renassia @michael.renassia that dives into the maritime memory of Dilmun and Tylos ancient civilisations, echoing ancient trade routes, pearl divers’ stories, and the traces carried by travellers across time.

Its “digital sea”, shaped by a soundtrack inspired by Fijiri songs and the ancient Mu’allaqat poems, creates a layered evocation of Bahrain’s deep connection to the sea — a symbolic space where memory, heritage, and mythology converge.

This 10th edition of The Nest « In the Wake of Tides », powered by @alriwaq, opens a rich Franco-Bahraini season where artists and visitors meet through workshops, guided tours, VR explorations, creative video games, and more — all centered on remembrance, presence, absence, and forgetting.
